Expected pay for this position is $52.66 - $69.77/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.

POSITION SUMMARY: ​

• The Director has responsibility for coordination of services and activities that impact inpatient care areas within the organization.
• Along with the other members of the Director's Council, provides management leadership and development across the organization.
• Serves as the nursing representative and/or leader of many multidisciplinary teams and work groups within the organization and at a Ministry level.
• Leads activities in patient classification/ acuity, information systems projects, recruitment and retention, regulatory compliance, and other appropriate activities.
• Participates on teams relative to staffing and scheduling, Magnet Recognition, and service line activities.

• Areas of responsibility include:inpatient OB, ICU, Stepdown, surgical acute, respiratory therapy, dialysis and education.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• Bachelors

Licenses/Certifications:

• RN-Registered Nurse
• Professional Nursing Certification (must be obtained within 1 year of hire).

Experience:

• 3 years management experience within an acute care setting.

Other skills/knowledge:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
