Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Accounting typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students.     The College of Business and Department of Accounting & Finance at Texas Woman's University invites applications for an Assistant Professor in Management Science/ Business Analytics. The position is expected to begin in August 2024.

    THE POSITION

    The position is a full-time, tenure-track position. Successful applicants must be ABD or have a Ph.D. in the discipline of Management Science or a closely related field. Faculty will be expected to:

    • Serve as core faculty member in the Management Science/ Business Analytics area
    • Teach graduate and undergraduate-level courses in the discipline
    • Teach R/Python/SQL and/or business intelligence topics
    • Participate in department/university and community service
    • Hold and maintain Scholarly Academic status for AACSB per TWU College of Business Faculty Qualifications and Engagement Policy
    • Support the missions of the University and College

    COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY INFORMATION

    The College of Business provides degrees in multiple business disciplines. The College has three areas/departments: Department of Accounting & Finance, Department of Management and Marketing, and Healthcare Administration.
