The Learning Lamp is looking for an Accounting Specialist at our main administrative offices. The Accounting Specialist is responsible for assisting with the fiscal functions of the organization in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board, the Securities and Exchange Commission, other regulatory and advisory organizations and in accordance with financial management techniques and practices appropriate within the nonprofit industry. In addition, this position is responsible for computing, classifying, recording, and verifying numerical data for use in maintaining accounting records by performing the following duties.
