Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Accounting typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students.     General Summary

    In anticipation of possible openings throughout the academic year the Accounting Department maintains a pool of qualified persons interested in part-time non-tenure-track teaching positions in Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, and BIS Accounting. Applications are accepted continuously and reviewed as vacancies become available. There may not be an actual vacancy at the time you apply.

    Required Qualifications

    1. Master's Degree.
    2. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    3. For teaching positions, state law mandates demonstrable oral proficiency in the English language as a requirement for this position.

    Desired Qualifications

    1. Prior teaching experience at the post-secondary level.
    2. Professional experience in the field.

    Varies depending on class hours and office hours.
