Professor - Architecture teaches courses in the discipline area of architecture. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being a Professor - Architecture provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Architecture typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. KCG is seeking to expand our Enterprise Architecture team supporting multiple agencies including Joint Staff, Military Sealift Command, and Army customers.
Responsibilities:- Analyze requirements, procedures, and constraints as part of mission analysis to develop integrated solution sets
- Participate in risk mitigation planning
- Conduct training sessions and workshops on mission analysis and plans development
- Facilitate data collection workshops with subject matter experts
- Collaborate with operators and Project Leads to resolve issues and ensure solutions are viable and consistent
- Conduct regular reviews of systems and generating reports on efficiencies and improvement areas
- Structure and prioritize business requirements and communicating plans with stakeholders for review and approval
- Active Security Clearance
- BA/BS degree in related field
- Operational Staff experience (Joint Staff, COCOM, Service HQ)
- Critical thinking ability
- Strong problem-solving capacity
- High-level written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of data modeling and data visualization tools
- Enterprise Architecture experience desired
- US Citizen
