Professor - Architecture teaches courses in the discipline area of architecture. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being a Professor - Architecture provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Architecture typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. CLA is looking to add a few crew members for the 2024 season. We focus on residential /small scale commercial site development (house demo, foundation excavation, utilities) , hardscaping (masonry, pavers, stonework). We do not cut grass or perform fall cleanups. We work year round.
Pay starts @ 18 with no experience and we go up from there.
We are looking for someone who is
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions - rain, snow etc
- Can lift safely 50lbs or more
- Someone who is comfortable around power tools
- Someone with common sense.
If you have more experience great. Applicants who can run heavy equipment, read plans, figure out elevations, have masonry and hardscaping experience are encouraged to apply. I will be more than happy to compensate qualified applicants accordingly.
CDL A a plus - Drivers license or a way to the job site/yard necessary.
