    As a Administrative Support Specialist at the GS-0301-9/11, some of your typical work assignments may include:

    • Assist the Administrative Officer (AO) in performing and assessing the effectiveness of all the administrative functions performed in the department, e.g., budget, procurement, space and lease acquisition or management, telecommunications, payroll, travel, supply, records management, safety and security, and accountable property.
    • Work with the AO in formulating budget projections and requests for funds on a quarterly basis. Provide data needed for budget projections.
    • In coordination with AO, request supplemental funds as needed. Keep AO advised of the current status of all funds and any problems on the horizon.
    • Write reports describing findings on administrative function and/or post-disaster analyses and recommendations for improvement.
    • Maintain necessary logs and files to document all requests for facilities/lease management services.
