Center for Change is seeking a part-time Secondary Chemistry Teacher.
Center for Change is a residential healthcare facility which provides treatment for women who suffer from anorexia and bulimia. The Center is respected for its programs, progressive outlook, and for its major contributions in research and treatment in the field of eating disorders. Among the Center’s program offerings is an Academic Education Program which includes Cascade Mountain High School, an accredited Special Purpose School with Advance-Ed. The High School makes it possible for adolescents, grades 9 through 12, to continue their academic education as they progress through treatment.
Teachers work closely with a team of professionals to plan and implement instruction and learning patterns which will help students in their academic pursuits and preparation for graduation and university studies. Teaching schedules rotate on a two-week block schedule with classes taught once each quarter. Classes are taught from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
