Professor - Communication teaches courses in the discipline area of communication. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being a Professor - Communication provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Communication typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. Clinical Director of Therapy (Pediatric Multidisciplinary)

  • Education: Candidates with have education in their field as needed to practice within their discipline - Masters of Doctoral Level for Physical/Occupational/Speech Therapists. PTA/SLPA also encouraged to apply. Must be licensed in the state of North Carolina or able to obtain licensure.

    Responsibilities: SMSS is looking for a skilled therapist to oversee daily clinic routines. This therapist will take initiative and be proactive in their role. Some duties may include aiding in monitoring therapist schedules, providing mentorship across disciplines as needed, aiding in communication between staff, posting job vacancies and interviewing candidates, onboarding of new therapists, communicating with parents/families, etc. A full time schedule will consist of 10 hours of director time each week, up to 25 hours of patient care time, and 5 hours of paperwork time. Part time opportunities available with negotiable schedule - we work with you to find a schedule that supports clinic and therapist needs!
