As a communication specialist you will provide comprehensive and professional assistive technology services as it relates to Augmentative and Alternative communication. Responsibilities include traveling to homes, day programs and community settings to conduct communication assessments for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and Autism as part of a mobile assessment team. Additional responsibilities include providing trainings, device implementation, submitting insurance and county referrals, and communication between multiple agencies and team members to ensure quality communication services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and Autism.
You’ll also receive a $250 sign-on bonus after 6 months.
