Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students.   • Lotus Communications is looking for an Electronics Assembler level II at our facility located in Acton, MA

    Requirements

    • Inspect assemblies.
    • Assemble printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies using hand soldering, pick and place machine, SMT stencils and reflow oven.
    • Adjust, repair, or replace electrical or electronic component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specifications.
    • Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions.
    • Mark and tag components so that stock inventory can be tracked and identified.
    • Mechanical assembly using electric screwdrivers, torque wrenches and other hand tools.
    • Pack finished assemblies for shipment and transport them to storage areas
    • Confer with supervisors or engineers to plan and review work activities, and to resolve production problems.

    Pay and Benefits:

    • The Salary for this position is $18.00 to $28.00 per hour based on experience.

    Required Skills / Qualifications:

    • At least a High School Diploma or GED.
    • Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Assembler.

    • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
