    Key Responsibilities:

    Assisting with Technical Support:

    • Provide assistance to end-users by troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
    • Respond to help desk tickets and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
    • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and peripherals.

    Learning and Applying Technical Skills:

    • Participate in training sessions to learn about various IT technologies, tools, and methodologies.
    • Apply theoretical knowledge to practical tasks, such as setting up networks, configuring software, and testing systems.
    • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in IT to enhance skillset.

    Supporting IT Projects:

    • Collaborate with and support team members on IT projects, such as software development, network upgrades, or system implementations.
    • Assist in gathering requirements, conducting research, and contributing to project planning and execution.
    • Follow project timelines and deliverables under the guidance of one of our Lead Technicians.

    Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
    • Must be proficient in effectively and accurately managing time and note-taking.

    Ensuring Security and Compliance:

    • Adhere to security protocols and best practices to protect sensitive data and IT infrastructure.
    • Assist in conducting security assessments, vulnerability scans, and risk assessments.
    • Participate in compliance audits and assist in implementing remediation measures as needed.

    Monitoring and Maintaining Systems:

    • Assist in implementing monitoring tools and alerting mechanisms to proactively detect and mitigate IT issues.

    Contributing to Team Collaboration:

    • Actively participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities.
    • Communicate effectively with team members to provide updates on progress and escalate issues when necessary.

    Adhering to Policies and Procedures:

    • Follow company policies, procedures, and code of conduct in all IT-related activities.
    • Maintain confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive information and data.

    Seeking Continuous Learning and Development:

    • Take initiative to expand knowledge and skills through self-study, online courses, and certifications.
    • Seek feedback from mentors and supervisors to identify areas for improvement and professional growth.
    • Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to new technologies and challenges in the IT field.

    Qualifications:

    • Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.

    • A driver's license.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    Working Conditions:
