Jordan is the county seat of Garfield County and has all of the amenities one would expect. If one desires to see the bright lights of the city, Billings, Montana is a short drive to the south. Billings has everthing one might expect of a large metropolitan area and is just far enough away to be convenient, but not too close.

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School ScienceTeacher to join our team. As a High School Science Teacher, you will be responsible for educating and mentoring students in various subjects, including chemistry, biology, A&P, and earth science. Your role will involve creating engaging lesson plans, delivering effective instruction, and managing student behavior.

    Duties:

    - Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards

    - Deliver engaging and interactive instruction to high school students

    - Assess student learning through assignments, exams, and projects

    - Provide individualized support and tutoring to students as needed

    - Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

    - Utilize technology and other resources to enhance teaching and learning

    - Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities

    - Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress

    - Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current in subject matter and teaching best practices

    Skills:

    - Strong knowledge of broadfield science

    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    - Ability to effectively plan and deliver engaging lessons

    - Proficient in using technology for instructional purposes

    - Experience with behavior management strategies in a classroom setting

    - Strong organizational skills for lesson planning and grading

    Requirements:

    - Bachelor's degree in education or related field

    - Valid teaching certification/license in the relevant subject area

    - Prior experience in high school teaching or related field is preferred
