CACI is seeking a cleared and experienced Computer Engineer to its technical team in Cheyenne, WY who will define, design, and develop new computer information systems requirements.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Work with a broad range of internal teams/users to both recommend and help implement new hardware and software in a lab environment.
Assesses architecture and current hardware limitations, defines and designs complex computer system specifications, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. Specifically experienced in MS Exchange, Active Directory and Domain Name Services (DNS) as well as VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) environments.
Analyzes and resolves difficult and complicated computer compatibility design deficiencies, including testing the design models, analyzing results and modifying as needed.
Develop PowerShell scripts to aid in software developmental testing and configuration.
Verify adherence to established installation standards and practices.
Interact with development and test teams to coordinate system upgrades and test cycles.
Develop drawings, User Guides, test plans, test procedures, rack elevations, pin-outs, cable connections, equipment maintenance manuals and other communications documentation.
Work in a team environment.

This position requires travel in the continental United States for various projects.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
An active DoD TS or higher DoD Security Clearance or DOE equivalent.
BS in computer science, computer engineering, information systems or equivalent experience, minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in support of DoD or other federal agency in a computer engineering capacity.
Security or DoD 8570 IAT Level II equivalent.
ACAS and HBSS Experience.
VMware or virtual environment experience.
Knowledge of Microsoft Server and Client Operating Systems.
DoD policies, procedures, and operating instructions related to IT, IA and IM.
Ability to adapt to change.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Risk Management Framework (RMF) experience.
5-7 years of experience in computer information system design, development and integration of communication networks for fixed and mobile command & control centers.
