IT company is in need of a Computer Technician to help support a broad client base at their Pawleys Island location. Technician will be involved in the simple break-fix of PCs as well as assisting in network installations. A Certification is needed. On-site, in-shop, and remote support environments are all employed. Technician will work directly with clients in-person, so people skills and appearance are important. Technician will also need to be able to self-manage at times.
Experience in analyzing, troubleshooting, and installation for the following environments is desired:
Work hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. Occasionally, special circumstances may require after-hours or weekend/holiday work. After-hours duty is rotated by staff and earns additional pay. Technician will be responsible for updating and submitting tickets.
Salary will depend on education, experience and certifications. Full medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance are paid by employer. 401(k) program with company matching is available. Paid vacation time increases with length of employment (starting with 2 weeks vacation). Dependable vehicle is required, and mileage reimbursement is provided. Start date is immediate.
