On Site IT Technician
Our company is a Gainesville based business that manages IT services. We focus on installs and maintaining hardware, software, installations, help desk, on-site support, and consultative services. The incumbent will be expected to work in store and onsite.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for an IT Field Support Technician to provide installation, maintenance and service of computers, VoIP phones, printers, media players, point-of-sale, and other equipment at customer locations, Gainesville, Lake City, Ocala and Jacksonville. The right candidate will visit customer locations respond to field dispatches and install/ repair equipment as needed. Reliable Vehicle is a must.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be troubleshooting, maintenance, preventive maintenance and installation of computers, VoIP phones, printers, media players, point-of-sale, and other equipment at customer locations. Visit various sites to ensure customers' IT needs are being taken care of. Interface at basic level with customer and internal help desk to effectively troubleshoot problems at customer location.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in Desktop PCs, VoIP, Printers & POS technical troubleshooting/repair. Some customer service experience is necessary. Phone and Printer repair would be an asset.
Certification
A certification or any CompTIA would be helpful but not required. Cisco or any product certification will also prove invaluable.
