Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. CDSEM Metrology Technician-Night

    CTG's Fortune 100 client in Albany, NY has a long-term contract opening for a CD-SEM Metrology Technician.

     

    Project Location: Albany, NY

    Project Duration: 12 months

     

    **This job requires candidate to work on alternate shift. Week 1 (Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat - 7pm to 7am each day) & Week 2 (Sun, Wed, Thu - 7pm to 7am each day).**

     

    Role and Responsibilities: The Technician will provide on-site support of the CD-SEM, overlay, and potentially other metrology tools in the fabrication (fab) unit. The selected candidate will work directly with metrology tool engineer and the operations team to build measurement recipes, troubleshoot tool issues, work with equipment suppliers on tool recoveries, communicate with operations to successfully move Work In Progress (WIP) though the line. The candidate will use on tool and laptop based software to generate design based measurement recipes.

     

    Job duties include: - Working with metrology tooling engineer and operations to maintain tool availability. 

    Supporting process team with POR and ENG recipe builds. 

    Maintaining a database of spec sheets associated with recipes on the tools. 

    Work with tooling suppliers to recover tools from scheduled and unscheduled down events. 

    Much time spent in a cleanroom environment.

     

    Required Technical and Professional Expertise: 

    Strong teamwork skills 

    Good management of time and available resources 

    Strong verbal and written communication skills 

    Organized and detail oriented. 

    Strong computer skills, Microsoft office 

    Fab experience (1 years) 

    CD-SEM and/or overlay metrology experience ( 1 years)

     

    Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:

    Fab experience (2 years) 

    CD-SEM or overlay metrology experience ( 2 years) 

    Knowledge of or ability to learn SiView, KLA, AMAT and Hitachi software (1 years) 

    Knowledge of wSPC (1 years)

    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
