Develops new ideas and methods for instruction and prepares supplemental course materials to enhance instruction. Evaluates projects, research assignments and other course assignments to determine effectiveness. Examines new textbooks, including computer and instructional software, to improve instruction. Counsels students with academic, career, and personal needs and advises students for registration. Examines program/course content to achieve program and College goals. Performs college administrative duties, attends College meetings, and assists with recruiting efforts. Performs other duties which advance the mission of the College. Formulates and develops a professional development plan consistent with the College and program's goals.Master's degree in the teaching discipline; or Master's degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline.Central Carolina Technical College is sincerely committed to both effective managerial practice and equitable treatment of employees.
