Sterilization Technician Job Description

Cody Family and Cosmetic Dentistry is looking for a Sterilization Technician to join our small dental team. We are looking for someone who has a great personality, excellent communication skills, works well on their own, is self-motivated and is willing to learn. We pride ourselves in taking time with our patients, listening, and doing everything we can to make their experiences positive.

Sterilization Duties:
- Perform sterilization and disinfection of dental instruments and equipment.
- Follow proper procedures for handling, cleaning, and packaging instruments.
- Monitor and maintain sterilization equipment and supplies inventory.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the sterilization area.

- Clean, disinfect, and setup treatment rooms

- Complete general janitorial duties

- Assist dental assistants/hygienist when needed

Experience:
- Previous experience working as a Sterilization Technician in a dental setting is preferred but not required.

Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- High level of professionalism and integrity

Schedule:

• Part-time
• No weekends or holidays
• Wednesday through Friday
• 10am-4pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
