Professor - Dentistry teaches courses in the discipline area of dentistry. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being a Professor - Dentistry provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Dentistry typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. Job Overview
We are looking for a Dentist to join our well-respected practice! The practice is thriving and offers a full range of dental services. Our patient first approach and ability to make dentistry comfortable to patients of all ages is why they have such a positive reputation within the community. There is an established patient base and growing! Our support teams are offered expanded function courses to optimize the care provided to our patients.
The ideal candidate needs to have an active dental license, a compassionate chairside manner, and a team-first mentality. The practice is open to interviewing new graduates. We are committed to helping the newly hired associate gain the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed.
Requirements (Education, Certifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from accredited dental school
Current unrestricted State Dental License
DEA Certificate
Although we value experience, new graduates are welcome to apply.
Implant experience preferred but not required
Surgical experience preferred but not required
Compassionate and caring provider with excellent chairside manners who loves being part of a team atmosphere
A passion for dentistry; both clinically and non-clinically
