Busy, fee-for-service office in the Catskill Mountains seeks a general dentist to join our growing practice. Looking for doctors interested in a quality office with a good patient base and reputation. New grads are welcome to apply and would be able to gain mentorship with the owner of the practice. The office has all 3D capabilities and is performing implant dentistry on a regular basis. Good opportunity to get involved in tooth replacement options in our office. - Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Provide preventive dental care including cleanings, sealants, and fluoride treatments
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and proper dental care
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and other dental professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or other practice management systems
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards of dental practice
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education programs
Experience:
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license
- Experience working with dental practice management systems
- Proficiency in performing a wide range of dental procedures including restorative, endodontic, periodontal, and oral surgery
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
