Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students.     Job Summary: 

    Charleston Collegiate School is seeking a full-time Economics and Business teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.  Successful candidates will be creative, energetic, and highly skilled teachers who are passionate about student-centered, collaborative, experiential learning. Candidates should also have a proven track record of success working with middle and high school students. Ideal candidates will have experience teaching high school economics and business classes.  Entrepreneurship is a key pillar of a CCS education, so an ideal candidate will also be comfortable working with middle school students as well Salary range: $50-60K, commensurate with experience.

     

    Charleston Collegiate School (CCS) is an independent day school which strives to recognize, nurture, and challenge each of its students.  Located on Johns Island, SC twenty minutes from Charleston’s historic district, CCS is the only co-educational, non-sectarian, preschool through 12th grade, independent school in Charleston’s metropolitan area.

    • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject discipline, e.g.,  Education or mathematics.
