Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Economics typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students.     Rivier University’s Division of Business and Security Studies invites ongoing applications for a qualified, credentialed candidate for Economics Instructor – Adjunct Faculty. Reporting to the Director of Undergraduate Business programs and Director of Graduate Business programs, the Adjunct Instructor is responsible for providing economics related courses with on-campus, face-to-face instruction at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels.

    EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
    The successful candidate will join the core Business and Security Studies faculty in the education of students, with the following primary responsibilities: Assume teaching, advisement, and mentoring responsibilities for students in the traditional face-to-face teaching and learning model;Undergraduate two daytime class meetings per week. Graduate one daytime and/or evening class meeting per week; Participate in ongoing program growth and development, particularly with respect to the integration of technology throughout all program experiences; andWork collaboratively with colleagues, both in the division and throughout the University.
