Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Economics typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students.     Job Description:

    The Department of Economics invites applications for a three-year position as Lecturer starting August 2024 with the possibility of renewal. The department will consider applicants from all fields.

    The Economics Department at Trinity is a collegial group of research-active teacher-scholars housed on the ground floor of the historic Chapman Center. The Chapman Center has just undergone a $33 million renovation as part of Trinity's ambitious master plan, complete with state of the art classroom technology, greenspace, and expanded spaces for collaboration. Candidates are encouraged to read more about these renovations to get a sense of the space they will share with their students and colleagues.
