    We are seeking an experienced, qualified, creative, and innovative Director with a genuine ability to lead by example, and the ability to transition the school to success. This candidate will oversee the daily operations and administration of the school. This candidate should be experienced in the field of early childhood development and must have a minimum of 2 years experience running a successful early education childcare program.

    Candidate must be able to create a warm and joyful environment for the staff, students and families. Students deserve the best early educational experience possible. You must be able to communicate effectively and respectfully and be able to multi-task and meet deadlines, this is a must! A bachelor's degree is required for this position, with a minimum of 2 years of Director experience in early education. The PA Director Credential is also required. Candidate must be familiar with PreK Counts, CCW, CACFP and PA STARS. (We are willing to train the right candidate)

    Position Overview:
    As the Early Education Director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our early childhood education center in accordance with state regulations and industry best practices. You will lead a team of teachers, ensure implementation of our curriculum, and ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for children.

    Responsibilities:
    • Program Leadership:  Implement a comprehensive program that aligns with Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards.
    • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of early childhood educators and support staff.
    • Compliance: Ensure compliance with Pennsylvania Department of Education regulations, maintain required records, and prepare for inspections.
    • Parental Engagement: Foster positive relationships with parents and caregivers, providing regular communication and opportunities for involvement.
    • Professional Development: Stay abreast of the latest developments in early childhood education and provide ongoing professional development opportunities for staff.
    • Budget Management: Oversee the budget, ensuring financial sustainability and responsible use of resources.
    • Health and Safety: Implement and maintain health and safety protocols to create a secure environment for children and staff.
    • Technology: Familiar with utilizing social media.  Responsible for using our system Procare/Procare Engagement App to streamline enrollment, tuitions, and payroll. (Training available) 

    Qualifications:
    • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field.
    • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or director role.
    • Certification: Must hold or be eligible for Pennsylvania Director Credential as per the Keystone STARS requirements. May have the ability to obtain while working. 
    • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards and regulations.
    • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, with strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Passion: Genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing a high-quality learning experience for young children.
