MSSU is currently seeking candidates for an Anatomy and Physiology position in the Department of Biology and Environmental Health starting August 2024 in Joplin, Missouri. Successful candidates should be prepared to teach undergraduate courses in anatomy and physiology for majors and non-majors, including Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy. Experience with cadaveric dissection is preferred, but not required. Additional courses may be considered dependent upon credentials.

The position requires a demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence, scholarly activity, and advising at the undergraduate level. A Ph.D. in biology, anatomy, physiology, or a related field is preferred; however, candidates who are ABD will be considered. Other terminal degrees in related fields (M.D., D.V.M., D.Pt., etc...) will also be considered. This is a tenure-track position.
