Professor - Electrical Engineering teaches courses in the discipline area of electrical engineering. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being a Professor - Electrical Engineering provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Electrical Engineering typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. Electrical Engineering Intern
Job Purpose:
In this role, the Electrical Engineering Intern will participate in the product development process by providing support to board design engineers, including developing and executing board level tests, component evaluations, board debug and other miscellaneous support functions.
Nature of Duties:
- Lab system setup including servers, switches, and storage system.
- Component performance testing
- PCB assembly test and debug
- Presentation of results – written and verbal
Education and Experience:
- Basic circuit analysis
- Basic lab skills – equipment use, soldering, etc.
- Good communication skills to interact with other team members
- Linux Operating System experience is plus
Salary range: $34320 - 35360
