    Clark College is currently accepting applications for a part-time Computer and Electrical Engineering Professor position. This position will teach first and second year Electrical and Computer-related college-level courses. This is an ongoing recruitment to keep a fresh pool of applicants. Positions will be filled as program needs arise.

    Position Responsibilities

    General Faculty Responsibilities

    • Instruct Introductory Computer Science and Electrical Engineering classes utilizing techniques and knowledge of the discipline that facilitate student learning.
    • Participate in relevant department activities supporting the teaching and learning environment.
    • Provide appropriate means to assess student progress and provide timely feedback.
    • Work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds.
    • Understand and commit to the mission of Clark College.
    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications and Competencies

    • Bachelor's degree (BS) in Computer and Electrical Engineering or equivalent
    • Two (2) years of industry related experience
    • Experience in mentoring, training, or teaching
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work well with people of all ages, from academically, culturally, and socio-economically diverse backgrounds.
    Supplemental Information

    Salary Statement: Lecture hourly rate is $85.48, and lab hourly rate is $73.01
