Professor - English teaches courses in the discipline area of English. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being a Professor - English provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - English typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. Since 2016, we provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students across the country. We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Tutor to join our team. This position offers flexibility in scheduling and the ability to work remotely or in-person.

Examples of Tutor Responsibilities :
- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in various subjects
- Assess students' strengths and weaknesses to develop customized lesson plans
- Help students improve their study skills and develop effective learning strategies
- Assist with homework assignments, test preparation, and project completion
Qualifications to be a tutor :
- Enrolled in/or graduated from College or University
- Strong knowledge of the subject(s) being tutored
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to reach their full potential
- Available Monday to Friday as of 3:00 p.m. and/or on the weekends
