Being a Professor - Environmental Engineering provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Environmental Engineering typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students.     NOVA Engineering is seeking an Environmental Staff Professional for our Charlotte, NC office. We are looking for self-motivated individuals with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. This position offers the opportunity for growth and advancement for the successful candidate.

    Duties:

    • Perform Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and Phase II Remediation Field Activities
    • Asbestos Containing Materials Services
    • Lead Based Paint Sampling and Testing Services

    Requirements:

    • Degree: Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Science preferred
    • 3 years of applicable experience preferred
    • Project management experience
    • Good communications and reporting skills
    • Project management experience
    • Experience with review of due diligence reports.
