Being a Professor - Environmental Engineering provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Environmental Engineering typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. CMT Project Manager (with PE)

    NOVA Engineering is hiring a CMT Project Manager to work on Construction Materials Testing (CMT) & Special Inspection (SI) projects throughout the Eastern NC area reporting Raleigh, NC.

    Duties include:

    • Field engineering duties including data reduction, analysis & fieldwork for commercial, industrial, retail, government, office and residential projects
    • Assisting with project management & reporting
    • Field inspection, sampling & testing of soils, concrete, masonry, reinforcing steel, etc.
    • Report preparation
    • Client consultation and maintenance
    • Providing assistance to other NOVA team members to promote the overall objectives of the company.

    The preferred candidate will have:

    • 5 years experience in construction materials testing and/or special inspections
    • Certifications in ACI and/or ICC such as Reinforced Concrete, Structural Masonry, Post Tensioned Concrete
    • Valid state driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record
    • BS in Civil Engineering with PE or ability to obtain
