Professor - Environmental Engineering teaches courses in the discipline area of environmental engineering. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being a Professor - Environmental Engineering provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Environmental Engineering typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students.     Job Description:

    The Environmental Technician will provide support to the Los Alamos County, NM project.

    What you will need:

    • B.S. or A.A. degree in environmental science, or related field.
    • 1-2 years’ experience in the environmental industry.
    • Effective communication (written and verbal) skills.
    • Ability to work as a team member across technical disciplines.
    • Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to learn quickly are critical.
    • Comfortability working in both an office, field, and industrial environment.
    • Ability to lift up to fifty pounds frequently and stand/walk for up to 8 hours each day.
    • Basic Computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office).
    • Current 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training, 30-hour OSHA Construction training, and First Aid/CPR certifications are a plus but not required prior to hire.
