Purpose of the Position:
The Geological Technician position will be responsible for all aspects of core/sample management and daily recordkeeping. The person will also be trained in geotechnical logging of the core. This position will interface with geologists, assay labs, and geological supply companies.
Accountability:
The Geological Technician reports directly to the Chief Mine Geologist.

The incumbent is expected to work a 40-hour /week schedule with occasional overtime. Personal Protective Equipment required for the fieldwork portion of this position includes but is not limited to, a hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed boots. All equipment will be MSHA-approved as applicable.
