Ideal candidates must be able to work within a team to drive the architecture of the core distributed data processing infrastructure. This position is responsible for the software design and development on complex, tactical geophysical systems. The software design and development responsibilities also include code and unit testing, troubleshooting, guidance and/or execution on corrective actions, and recommendations for design enhancement. Software Engineers also support integration and test activities, both in the field and in the lab.
Requirements include the ability to work on multiple projects, self-direct, strong oral and written communication skills, strong problem solving and analytical skills. Other duties as assigned by management.
