Position Summary | The Department of History at the University of North Texas invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in the history of Texas and/ or Texas and Southwest borderlands to begin Fall 2024. Responsibilities will include pursuing a research agenda appropriate for an R1 institution, teaching courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, working closely with graduate students, and providing service to the department, college, and university. The ideal candidate will join a vibrant history department comprised of engaged faculty with a strong research profile and a commitment to student-centered learning and community engagement. |
