PRINCIPLE PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurial Marketing is a tenure track position in the School of Business. The position will have a combination of teaching and research responsibilities. The candidate will teach undergraduate and possibly graduate-level courses in marketing and entrepreneurship.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and possibly graduate courses in marketing, serve as an academic advisor, participate in curriculum development, and serve on institutional committees, as well as mentor students in research projects, and other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
OTHER DUTIES: Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate should have a Ph.D. in a business field with 18 hours of graduate work in marketing/entrepreneurial course work. However, some candidates may be considered that have earned a Master of Business Administration degree with at least 18 hours of graduate work in marketing/entrepreneurial course work. Additional certifications and professional experience in marketing and entrepreneurial training will also be required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This position will not have supervisory responsibility.
