    The Herbert W. Boyer School of Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Computing at Saint Vincent College invites individuals with a Ph.D. in Health Science, Medical Science, or related fields to apply for a tenure-track position in the Biological Sciences Department.  The successful candidate will have a commitment to undergraduate teaching and will develop an active research program that incorporates undergraduate students.  Other responsibilities include student advising and service on college committees. Prior teaching experience, higher educational service, and a commitment to equity, inclusion, and diversity is beneficial.

    Competitive candidates will have expertise in at least one of the following areas: Health Care Systems, Environmental Health, Genetics and Health, Wellness and Nutrition, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or similar fields.  Health Care work experience is desired but not required. The courses taught by this Assistant Professor will support Health Science, Biology, Environmental Science, and Nursing undergraduate majors. The standard teaching load at Saint Vincent is a 4-4 (24 credit per year) load. The teaching load, during the probationary period, will be twenty-one credits (equivalent to seven three-credit courses) per academic year (a 3-4 teaching load).
