Endpoint Industrial Controls is a growing company providing electrical and mechanical engineering, control panel manufacturing, and system integration for a wide range of industries. EIC is looking for an experienced project estimator to add to the team. The ideal candidate will have some estimating experience, and engineering experience is a plus, but not required.

Core Responsibilities:

• Review engineering drawings to determine costs based on materials, labor costs, overhead expenses, and profit margins.
• Develop cost sheets utilizing Bill of Materials (BOM) provided.
• Create labor hour estimates for projects.
• Generate comparisons between estimated costs and actual expenditures.
• Work with management and engineering to accurately estimate project costs for quoting purposes.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Well versed in Microsoft Word, Excel and Office. Experience with Microsoft Project a plus.
• Ability to use Sharepoint, and Monday Work Management effectively.
• Ability to assimilate multiple sets of data into a single estimation document.
• Occasionally communicate with clients about part availability, project lead times, potential pivot points, and quote issues.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work closely with project managers and engineers.

• Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail when reviewing engineering drawings and compiling cost estimates, ensuring accuracy in material assessments, labor costs, and project timelines.
• Exhibits effective communication skills both in written correspondence, such as emails, and in the construction of quoting documents. Can convey complex information clearly and concisely to internal teams and external clients.
• Possesses excellent organizational abilities necessary for managing multiple projects simultaneously. Capable of efficiently handling numerous files and email communications associated with each project, maintaining order and clarity throughout.
• Displays a proactive and accomplishment-driven mindset, demonstrating a strong desire to complete tasks and achieve goals. Thrives on the satisfaction of checking off completed items on a checklist and is motivated to progress to the next set of objectives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
