Experienced Legal Assistant/Paralegal | Family Law

  • Clarksville, TN FULL_TIME
  • Who we are:

We are a fast-growing law firm based in Clarksville, TN, that specializes in Family Law. We are also one of very few local law firms qualified to represent defendants in Court-Martials.

Our work is challenging, so providing the resources and support our team needs to succeed is a priority. We offer generous paid time off, competitive compensation, and performance-based incentives. In exchange, we expect our staff to hold themselves (and each other) accountable to our core values on a daily basis so we can grow together and meet our goals. We know the right candidate is out there, and we hope it might be you!

    Who you are:

We are looking for an experienced paralegal to manage casework and provide administrative support to the legal team at our law firm. Communication may involve sensitive casework and emotional conversations, so proficiency in written and verbal communication is a must. Success in this role means maintaining your composure in a pinch and performing well under pressure. You should also recognize the importance of client confidentiality and discretion. At least one year of relevant experience is required; candidates with 2 years experience in the legal industry are strongly preferred.

    Other daily responsibilities may include:

    • Drafting Legal Documents
    • Recording pertinent information in our client management system
    • Calendar Management (Scheduling Appointments, Court Dates, Pertinent Deadlines, etc.)
