Professor - Law teaches courses in the discipline area of law. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being a Professor - Law provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Law typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students.     The successful candidate must also be able to create and manage various case files, including client documents and correspondence, court filings and other legal records.

    Responsibilities:

    • Fluency in Spanish is required
    • Manage firm business operations and professional growth.
    • Plan and coordinate work activities with public and firm staff.
    • Maintain case files and financial records.
    • Perform administrative duties such as word processing, copying, scanning, and faxing.
    • Retrieve documents from the courthouse or law library.
    • Answer client questions by telephone or in person.
    • Other tasks to assist in completion of projects
