Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Law typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students.     Small law firm seeks a motivated, organized, detail-oriented individual to work as calendar/records clerk. Mr. Schneider has been practicing law in the state of New York since 1998. Our practice includes Personal Injury, Traffic and Parking Violations and Per Diem Services. We offer highly competitive pay, paid holidays, paid vacation, paid sick time and a great working environment.

    Schedule 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    · Data entry

    · Answering phones

    · General office duties

    · Obtaining medical records

    · Scanning /printing/copy records

    · Scheduling court appearances for per diem clients

    · Scheduling arbitration appearances, 50H hearings, depositions, IME’s, EUO’s for our clients and per diem clients

    · Maintaining/inputting per diem calendar

    · Maintaining/inputting per diem invoices

    · Maintaining/inputting per diem payments

    · Confirming per diem services via phone/email etc.

    · Correspond with clients, medical providers and insurance carriers over the phone and through email.

    · Communicating with covering attorneys

    · Back up when needed for all areas in the firm

     

    Requirements:

    · You must have at least 1 year(s) prior experience as a calendar clerk

    · Working knowledge and familiarization with Word, OneDrive, Excel (data entry, creating and editing formulas, formatting)

    · Excellent phone etiquette

    · Attention to detail

    · Confidentiality

    · Maintain professional demeanor on the phone and in all business communications

    · Excellent communication

    · Excellent people skills

    · Must be familiar with legal terminology and documents

     

    Ability to speak Spanish is not required but is a plus.
