Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students.     Job Summary:
    We are looking for a motivated and optimistic candidate with a passion for education, organization, and coordination. This person must love to work with children, teenagers, and adults. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong leadership skills and sales initiative both within the tutoring center and in outreach to students, parents, and schools throughout the greater Nashville area.

    Job Responsibilities:
    (Include but are not limited to the following):
    • Responsible for opening and closing the office during hours of operation and instruction
    • Responding to business inquiries and pursuing leads
    • Managing and scheduling both staff and students
    • Working with families, in coordination with the tutor staff, to create customized tutoring plans based on the needs of their children
    • Maintaining office supplies and preparing materials for classes and tutoring sessions
    • Managing relationships with students, parents, and the building manager
    • Providing general support to students, parents, and related office visitors
    • Overseeing adherence to office policies and procedures
    • Implementing new policies and procedures as assigned
    • Scheduling and organizing meetings (in person or virtual)
    • Assisting with onboarding new team members (general training, computer system access, etc.)
    • Submitting regular reports to business ownership
    • Maintaining a clean, safe, and pleasant work environment for both students and staff
    • Performing other duties as assigned

    Job Qualifications:
    • A Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
    • Proven office management experience; knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems, and procedures
    • Previous experience with academic tutoring and test prep preferred, but not required
    • Previous experience and preferably demonstrable success in sales and marketing
    • A valid Tennessee Driver’s License, in good standing, is required as this position will require active outreach and marketing in the surrounding communities

    Physical Requirements You Will Need:
    • Prolonged periods standing, walking, sitting at a desk, and working on a computer
    • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
    • Must be able to navigate the organization’s physical premises
