Job Description:
The candidate will provide legal support to our team, attorneys, case management, and legal research. The candidate will regularly draft correspondence and pleadings such as motions, oppositions, replies, settlement briefs, and complaints. The candidate will also regularly draft written discovery in both state and federal litigation matters. Preparation for hearings, depositions, and trials including interviewing fact witnesses. Analysis of high volume of documents, legal researching, and overall assistance of the firm to help achieve success. Responsible for independent completion of assignments and case management. The position requires teamwork to assist our operations including teamwork with our other law clerk(s).
The position requires legal knowledge/analysis and/or experience. The ideal candidate should have well developed legal research and legal writing skills. Familiarity with civil procedure, state and/or federal law is a plus. This position will require an intelligent, strategically minded, client focused individual who is analytical, innovative, and can execute with a proven reputation for quality performance.
