Professor - Law teaches courses in the discipline area of law. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being a Professor - Law provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Law typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students.   • Responsibilities:
    - Perform clerical duties such as organizing and maintaining files, scheduling appointments, and managing calendars.
    - Transcribe and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and memos.
    - Answer phone calls and take messages with proper phone etiquette.
    - Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings.
    - Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases.
    - Prepare legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and subpoenas.
    - Assist with data entry and document management systems.

    Experience:
    - Previous experience working as a legal assistant or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
    - Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.
    - Proficiency in using computer software for word processing, spreadsheets, and document management.
    - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    - Attention to detail and accuracy in proofreading documents.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
