Solutions Based Family Law, located in Centennial Colorado, is looking to add a Law Student to join our firm as a Summer Law Clerk. Please only apply for this position if you are currently attending law school.
The passion we have for mentorship is what makes us different. The goal for this position is to help you become familiarized with the practice of family law, to gain practical experience in working with and speaking to clients, being able to observe hearings or other court proceedings and observe/participate in mediations. Job duties include but are not limited to legal research; drafting in-office memoranda, pleadings, motions, or briefs; and assisting in case management and development.
The candidate we are looking for must be a self-starter, a team player, have strong research and writing skills, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and the desire to grow professionally in the family law field.
This position will work a minimum of 25 hours per week with the ability to work up to 40 hours per week depending on the workload.
