Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students.     Are you tech-savvy and interested in the legal industry and legal proceedings? U.S. Legal Support is looking for a Digital Transcriber/California Notary, and no prior experience is necessary – we provide training!

    If you're good with computers, a great communicator, and eager to learn, this job is your ticket to a thrilling career in legal support!

    This is role will require reporting onsite to various locations in California on a regular basis.

    Key Responsibilities of a Digital Transcriber/California Notary:

    • 🎙️ Digital Recording: Capture spoken testimony during legal proceedings.
    • 💻 Tech Proficiency: Operate computer audio equipment after our training program.
    • 📝 Documentation: Create annotations and maintain speaker identifications.

    Requirements of a Digital Transcriber/California Notary:

    • 💻 Tech Enthusiast: Comfortable with computers and software.
    • 📝 Quick Typist: Typing speed of 50 words per minute.
    • 💼 Notary: Ability to obtain a state Notary Commission as applicable (we'll assist).
    • 🗣️ Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication.

    AAERT Certification Required in some states; If not already AAERT Certified, we will provide training and opportunity for certification.
