Duties and Responsibilities
The College of Arts and Sciences at North Park University seeks applications for an open rank full-time multi-disciplinary tenure-track position in the Department of Communication Arts to begin in August 2024. Spurred by growth in Communication Arts degree and a developing Conflict Transformation program, the department is seeking a candidate that will contribute to the development of those programs overall as it seeks to expand its course offerings in conflict transformation studies.
The successful candidate will have a load in both communication studies or conflict studies based on their qualifications and the needs of the department. Additional responsibilities include advising and mentoring undergraduate students, implementation of a scholarly agenda, and participation in university-wide service. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
