Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being a Professor - Liberal Arts provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Liberal Arts typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students.     We are accepting applications for part-time faculty for Fall 2023:

    Instructors needed for the following:

    Core II Seminar - Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 1:00 - 1:50

    This course is designed to provide students with opportunities to engage with issues of diversity and inclusion, and to explore the intersection between global awareness and vocational discernment. Students will do so through immersion experiences in local or global communities and through study of difference, bias, privilege and inclusion. Students will develop their own understandings of what it means to live a socially responsible life of ethical service to others in our diverse world. Different sections of the course may focus on different groups or aspects of local or global diversity.

    Previous teaching experience and relevant experience in the subject area are desired. PhD preferred, Master's degree required.
