Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Liberal Arts typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students.     Infinity Martial Arts – Sun Prairie is looking for a motivated, positive, friendly, and energetic Black Belt Instructor.

    Must have great communication and social skills. Must have experience teaching students and a willingness to learn and embrace our systems and curriculum.

    Duties:
    - Instruct students in martial arts techniques, including Karate, weapons, sparring, and self-defense
    - Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to the skill level and age group of each student
    - Provide guidance and support to students during training sessions
    - Demonstrate proper techniques and ensure students practice safely
    - Monitor student progress and provide feedback for improvement
    - Create a positive and motivating learning environment
    - Organize and supervise martial arts events, competitions, or demonstrations
    - Assist with administrative tasks related to class scheduling, student registration, and equipment maintenance

    Basic Requirements:
    -Black Belt Martial Artist in any style such as Karate, Tae Kwon Do, etc. Basic knowledge/experience of Traditional weapons, Sparring and Sport Karate/tumbling is a plus.
    -Great interpersonal and communication skills.
    -Passionate in helping and teaching students of all ages.
    -Sales/customer service experience including prospecting, promoting and referrals.
    -Reliable and self-motivated.
    -Willingness to further work education and experience by attending seminars and workshops.
    -Professional appearance.
    -Able to pass criminal and child safety background checks.
    -Valid driver's license.
    -Dependable transportation.
    - Ability to educate and inspire students in a group setting
    - Knowledge of child development principles for effective teaching strategies

    Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
    -Teaching Martial Arts to all ranks and ages
    -Promoting the school. Helping with planning special events, community events, etc.
    -Sales, phone calls, prospect walk ins.
    -Conducting new student appointments / orientations.
    -Provide exceptional customer service.
    -Daily cleaning.

    Salary based on experience and availability.

    Job Types: Full-time (30 hours/week)

    Salary: Hourly rate plus bonuses: Approximately $34,000-$42,000

    Additional Compensation:

    • Monthly incentive program up to $500/month
    • 401k available
