Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Liberal Arts typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. Mental Health Counselor

  • We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Mental Health Counselor to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will work closely with college-age students to provide counseling and support to help them navigate the challenges of academic, personal, and emotional growth.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with college-age students.
    • Assess and diagnose mental health issues.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
    • Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary.
    • Offer guidance on stress management, relationship issues, and personal development.
    • Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure holistic care for students.
    • Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions.
    • Stay up-to-date with current mental health trends and treatments.

    Qualifications:

    • State licensure as a Mental Health Counselor.
    • Experience working with college-age students.
    • Strong communication and active listening skills.
    • Empathetic and nonjudgmental approach to counseling.
    • Familiarity with various counseling techniques and therapeutic modalities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
